Live - Work, the dynamics of choice


After a struggle, that at times seemed endless, I have come upon a place that I am proud to inhabit. I am thankful to my partner, coaches, and training sessions who have allowed me to realize that the wall of resistance that I have been pounding upon is a deeply known part of my reality. This reality is grounded in my heritage and life experiences. Although helpful in the face of crisis’s, for productive living, this mode of living has proven to be like a mule toiling at a grain mill – grinding away, yet stuck in drudgery.

I have made a much needed decision. I now choose to deeply embrace with gusto my energies and time to the promotion of my professional creative services. Where ever I live, I know that my unique qualities are in demand and as I implement my goals everything that has been a struggle shall inform my new journey.

Your strenght is your energy or better I will say the perfect way you tranfer it to other people.
You really have an incredible attitude to help people to understand their way in life...and that's amazing! It is also true that people who wants to change their life and find new challenges have to put themselves in the right direction...ie in the direction of "changing"! Luisa

Spring - the flush of awakening

Spring has arrived in Washington DC and the sticks and stones of winter are now a softening memory. As a newcomer to a region dominated by deciduous flora I am struck by the strength of nature. Winter wasn't too harsh this year, yet there have been a few snow storms, frost and ice were prevalent, the air definitely chilly, and leaves turned brown in turn fell and left its host a barren skeletal form. This new DC is delightful and is emerging to reveal a lushness that teases even my somber moods into digging deeper for creative possibilities. Thought provoking textile creations artisans expressed the intimate experiences of social, emotional and structural upheaval in their lives. The exhibition presented works created over a 200 year time line, covering early notions of nation building in the  USA  through dramatic representations of genocide and Sept 11, 2001.
